Updating Ashford's Civic Tribute October 2006 In 2006 we made representations to the Ashford Borough Council to have the town's civic tribute bought up-to date. We want to add all the names of local fallen men who were left off the memorial by error (WW1 & WW2) and to also add the names of locally fallen men from all post WW2 conflicts including local fallen men killed on active service in Iraq & Afganistan |
![]() Glady's Alice Sparkes Ashford's only civilian casualty of the Great War who was missed off the towns memorial! |
